Two high-sensitivity Filter'Tron™ humbucking pickups combine with the laminated maple body, delivering pristine highs, glassy mids, robust lows, and balanced harmonics for a tone that blends seamlessly with other instruments. A 12" ebony fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets and stunning pearloid Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays has a maple neck with a classic, comfortable "U" profile for smooth playing. The innovative Gretsch "ML" bracing is specifically voiced to provide completely hollow body tonality from the thin 2.25" body. The controls are simple and versatile: separate controls for bridge and neck volume, three-way switching, no-load tone control and master volume, allowing for countless tonal variations. The new Gretsch "Squeezebox" paper-in-oil caps add a smooth vintage tone, while the treble bleed circuit allows your guitar to retain all its tasty clarity when the volume control is turned down. Highly expressive, the Bigsby B6GP vibrato and "rocking" bar bridge are combined with the GraphTech® TUSQ™ XL nut for stable tuning. In an exclusive Gretsch touch, the Bigsby tailpiece is now string-thru, making string changes faster (and easier) and providing greater vibration transfer for enhanced sustain.
