The Catalina Club series was truly new territory for the Gretsch brand in its early days, as for the first time Gretsch shells were produced outside the USA and for the first time mahogany wood was used. But the enormous success of these models proves Gretsch's developers right. The series combines traditional configurations and the classic GRETSCH sound with elegant, modern hardware. The foundation consists of seven-ply shells with a 30° bearing edge, which, in combination with the REMO® drumheads, mounted as standard, give each drum kit a warm, powerful vintage tone. Catalina Club sets are available in three different configurations and a total of seven finishes.
