In 1961, the Les Paul Standard received a complete overhaul from Gibson, giving birth to the SG with its radical and innovative design for the time, destined to enter guitar history. The Gibson Original Collection SG Standard '61 reproduces the unmistakable style and class of that historic guitar. "Period-correct" mahogany body, slim taper mahogany neck with rosewood fretboard, vintage tuners, ABR-1 bridge, Burstbucker 61R and 61T pickups faithful to the classic PAFs of the era.
