Introduced in 1954, the Les Paul Special, as an instrument designed for students and beginners, quickly became a classic for over 60 years, crossing generations and genres. Mahogany body, mahogany neck with Fat 50s-style profile, rosewood fretboard, wraparound bridge, and P-90 pickup.

The Gibson Original Collection marks the return of Gibson's Golden Era. To celebrate its iconic past, Gibson reintroduces the classic guitars that shaped the sound of generations of musicians who made history.
