GIBSON SG MODERN TRANS BLACK FADE ELECTRIC GUITAR

The newly refreshed Gibson SG Modern incorporates many contemporary updates that players have come to love and is much more than a classic "solid body"; it's a hybrid between an SG and a Les Paul. Shaped like a classic SG, the body is made with an AA maple top and mahogany back, characteristics of a Les Paul. This combination is renowned for its resonance and sustain. The authentic ebony fretboard, with 24 frets and the asymmetrical and slim tapered neck allow quick and smooth access to the higher frets. A pair of calibrated BurstBucker Pro Alnico V humbuckers provides firepower, and the push-pull controls allow you to switch between Gibson humbucker and P90 single coil sounds, both of which have defined so many musical genres across multiple generations since we invented them.
