'57 Classic (Double Black, Nickel Cover, 2-Conductor, Potted, Alnico 2, 8K)

Introduced in 1990, the '57 Classic produces a warm and full sound with a balanced response, delivering that classic Gibson PAF humbucker™ crunch. It is made to the exact same specifications as the originals, including Alnico 2 magnets, nickel-plated pole pieces, maple spacers, and vintage-style two-conductor braided wiring. The '57 Classic humbucker uses balanced coils for a smoother, creamier tone and excellent noise cancellation. The pickups are also wax-potted to remove all internal air and prevent any risk of microphonic feedback.
