The Gibson Les Paul Traditional Pro V combines the great Les Paul tradition with some contemporary features: a mahogany body with weight relief holes, a mahogany neck with an ergonomic asymmetrical profile, and a variable fretboard radius for maximum comfort.

The pickups are a pair of new Tradbuckers: the neck pickup has fewer windings than normal, which contributes to a soft and warm sound, while the bridge pickup has more windings, which implies a higher output.

The electronics of the Gibson Les Paul Traditional V also increase the versatility of this instrument, thanks to the presence of push/pull controls that allow you to split the humbuckers and select between the outer or inner coils. Finally, a push/pull control located on the bridge pickup tone knob allows you to put the pickups out of phase.
