GIBSON LES PAUL STUDIO SMOKEHOUSE BURST ELECTRIC GUITAR

The Les Paul Studio model embodies the essential characteristics of the Les Paul model and is positioned at the top of the entry-level production in the vast Gibson USA catalog.

It borrows some cutting-edge technical features from the Les Paul Standard model, thus identifying it as a moderately modern Les Paul.

Specifically, the body features an Ultra Modern Weight Relief pattern, capable of substantially reducing the overall weight of the instrument without altering its sound.

The mahogany neck has a 60's Slim Taper profile, which is very comfortable and fast, while the Graph Tech® nut, a self-lubricating material, promotes tuning stability by minimizing friction caused by the nut.

The electronics consist of a pair of 490R and 498T pickups, classically Rock, which allow for a variety of genres, from Blues to Hard Rock. Note the presence of two push/pulls on the volume knobs, which allow splitting the humbuckers for crystal-clear tones, fantastic for rhythm playing.
