The new Les Paul Standard 60s Plain Top returns to the classic design that made it such a beloved, played, and important guitar, forging sound across generations and various musical genres. It pays homage to the golden era of Gibson innovation and brings authenticity back to life. The Les Paul Standard 60s Plain Top has a solid mahogany body with a plain maple top. The mahogany neck has a rounded 60s SlimTaper™ profile and a rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays. It features a classic ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic™ bridge, an aluminum stop bar tailpiece, Grover® Rotomatic® "Kidney" tuners, and gold Top Hat knobs with silver Reflector inserts. The BurstBucker™ 60s pickups have Alnico 5 magnets and are hand-wired with logarithmic potentiometers and Orange Drop® capacitors. Now available in eye-catching custom colors that are sure to blow your mind; a hard case is also included.
