GIBSON LES PAUL STANDARD 50'S HERITAGE CHERRY SUNBURST

The Gibson Original Collection Les Paul Standard '50s faithfully reproduces the 1950s Les Paul.

This Gibson Original Collection features a solid mahogany body without any weight relief, a maple top, a rounded 50s mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard with classic trapezoid inlays. It has a classic Tune-O-Matic bridge, Vintage deluxe tuners and amber top hat knobs. The pickups used are calibrated Burstbucker 1 and 2 with Alnico II magnets, hand-wired with Orange Drop capacitors.

The new Gibson Les Paul Standard is a return to its roots. This particular version is inspired by the Les Pauls of the 1950s.

We find the usual combination of materials for the body, namely mahogany without weight relief holes and maple. The neck has a 50s Rounded profile, not small, but always comfortable.

The rosewood fingerboard is adorned with "Trapezoid" inlays, while the bridge is a classic ABR-1 Tune-o-matic.

The sound generated by a pair of BurstBucker 1 and BurstBucker 2 with Alnico II magnets has all the peculiarities of the vintage Gibson sound: warm, rich in attack and infinite sustain.

Finally, the electronics consist of 4 logarithmic potentiometers, Orange Drop capacitors, all hand-wired.
