And it returns with the classic design that made it a celebrated, played, and beloved guitar, one that shaped the sound across different musical genres and generations. It features a mahogany double-cutaway body, offering exceptional balance when using a strap, as well as easy access to the full length of the fretboard. The comfortable SlimTaper mahogany neck is topped with a bound rosewood fingerboard, adorned with acrylic dot inlays and featuring 22 medium Jumbo frets. What's more, it features Gibson Vintage Deluxe tuners for precise and smooth tuning, and white tuner buttons on the headstock, which also showcases an inlaid mother-of-pearl Gibson logo. The tuners, along with the Graph Tech® nut, ensure extraordinary tuning stability. The other ends of the strings are anchored to the simple Wraparound bridge/tailpiece, complete with two intonation adjustment screws and fixed directly to the mahogany body, a solution that enhances the full tone and legendary sustain that made the Les Paul Special Double Cut a true icon.

The Les Paul Special Double Cut is powered by a pair of Gibson's renowned P-90 Soapbar pickups, each wired manually to independent volume and tone controls.
