Introduced in 1990, the '57 Classic provides a warm, full sound with balanced response, delivering that classic Gibson PAF humbucker™ crunch. It is made to the exact same specifications as the originals, including Alnico 2 magnets, nickel-plated pole pieces, maple spacers, and vintage-style two-conductor braided wiring. The ‘57 Classic humbucker uses balanced coils for a smoother, richer tone and excellent noise cancellation. The pickups are also wax potted to remove all internal air and prevent any risk of microphonic feedback.
