Gene Simmons is a legendary rock icon and bassist for Kiss, and his new Gibson Gene Simmons G2 Thunderbird Bass reflects his tastes.

This 4-string bass features the classic Reverse Thunderbird body and headstock shape. The body and neck are mahogany, with a 20-fret ebony fingerboard adorned with mother-of-pearl diamond inlays.

For electronics, the G2 Thunderbird Bass is equipped with a pair of powerful T-Bird pickups, each with individual volume controls and paired with a master tone control. The bridge is a Hipshot.

Other features include: Graph Tech nut and Hipshot Mini-Clover tuners.

The back of the headstock features a G2 logo. The Ebony nitrocellulose lacquer finish is paired with Black Chrome hardware, a truss rod cover, and a Mirror Plex pickguard with a custom laser-etched Gene Simmons logo.

A modern hardshell case is included.
