Description

The compact Genelec 8020C monitoring system was designed for use in a wide variety of situations. In any case, the small size of the active 2-way monitor does not in any way affect the quality and balance of acoustic reproduction typical of the Genelec brand, adopting many ingenious innovations aimed at minimizing any form of distortion. The ISS (Intelligent Signal Sensing) function reduces the system's electrical consumption to less than 0.5 watts by automatically putting the monitor into standby when no signal is detected on the inputs for a certain period of time. As soon as an input audio signal is detected, the system is instantly reactivated. This ISS function is compliant with the new EU regulations and the ErP 2013 Directive which regulates the consumption of electronic equipment.
