The new 8010 monitors are ideal for professional use in small studios, thanks to their detailed and accurate response and extraordinary ease of placement. The Genelec 8000 series of loudspeakers is widely used in broadcast and television, music production and post-production, and represents the worldwide reference standard. The latest model is perfect for small spaces, such as OB Vans and location recording. The new Genelec 8010s feature balanced XLR inputs, a 3" bass driver and a 3/4" tweeter with efficient Class D amplifiers, one for each driver. The new Intelligent Signal Sensing (ISS) circuit saves energy by putting the speakers into standby mode when there is no signal at the audio inputs and reactivating them as soon as an audio signal is detected. This circuit can also be deactivated if not needed. As with the entire 8000 series, a wide range of accessories is available for the 8010 to meet every need, allowing the monitors to be positioned in the best possible way for every use case.
