Crafted with a solid spruce top with X-bracing and sapele back and sides, the 12-string Villager™ takes on the Newporter's auditorium body shape, but without a cutaway, and produces a versatile, articulate, and powerful voice, offering the best comfort for hours of inspiration. The nato neck is designed with a slim "C" profile that facilitates playing, with graphite reinforcement bars that increase stability, a scale length of 24.75" (62.86 cm) for comfortable string tension, and a '60s-inspired "hockey stick" headstock for a distinctive look, a legacy of Fender's acoustic heritage. Other important details include vintage-style tuners for smooth and precise tuning, GraphTech® NuBone® nut and bridge for unmistakable 12-string brilliance, and a Fishman® Flex preamp system that allows for faithful reproduction of the guitar's natural sound when connected to an amplifier or recording device.
