This guitar features a set of Yosemite™ single-coil pickups, designed to deliver rich, expressive tones. With flat-staggered pole pieces for increased output and shellac potting for the neck pickup and wax potting for the bridge pickup, which allow the coil to breathe while controlling feedback, Yosemite pickups produce dynamic sounds ideal for any musical situation. The American Performer Telecaster also features the Greasebucket™ tone circuit to shape highs without adding bass, preserving the sound. The "Modern C" profile neck has a 9.5" radius fingerboard comfortable for almost any style, along with 22 jumbo frets for precise and effortless bending.
