The Fender® Precision Bass® American Ultra II features a contoured alder body. For effortless playability, the quartersawn maple neck boasts our Modern D neck profile and a smooth Satin Ultra finish. Quarter-sawn maple or ebony fingerboards with a 10"-14" (25.4-35.56 cm) compound radius, Ultra rolled fretboard edges, medium-jumbo frets, Luminlay® side dots, and Graph Tech® TUSQ® nuts. The tapered neck heel and sculpted body contours allow for easy access to the highest registers, while the truss rod access at the headstock simplifies setup and adjustments.

Equipped with a set of specially designed Ultra II Noiseless™ Vintage pickups, this bass offers a vast tonal range, from vintage warmth to modern snappy tones, all without a hint of hum. The redesigned preamp provides unparalleled control for endless tonal possibilities. Key features include an S-1™ switch for active/passive operation, passive tone control, and a 3-band active EQ with selectable midrange frequency. Other features include an adjustable HiMass™ bridge (top-load or string-through-body), lightweight Fender tuners with tapered shafts, knurled aluminum knobs, and a 1-ply anodized aluminum pickguard.
