The Telecaster® Player II Modified is a classic model that caters to the modern performer. All neck features are designed for fluid, fast playability, starting with the Modern "C" profile, the smooth satin urethane back finish, and the slab rosewood or one-piece maple fingerboard with a comfortable 9.5” (24.13 cm) radius and rolled edges, with 22 medium jumbo frets. The alder body delivers classic Fender punch, and is available in a variety of stunning new finishes. Player II Noiseless™ pickups produce classic Tele® "twang" and punch, eliminating unwanted noise, and the push/pull switch on the tone control provides even wider tonal flexibility by changing the pickup wiring from parallel to series for fuller sounds. The 6-saddle bridge, short-post locking tuners, TUSQ® nut, and modern string tree work together to maintain incredibly stable tuning, even with the most extended bends and fiery rock solos.
