The Player II Modified Stratocaster® HSS is a classic model that caters to the modern performer. All neck features are designed for smooth, fast playability, from the Modern "C" profile, to the slick satin urethane back finish, to the slab rosewood or 1-piece maple fingerboard, with a comfortable 9.5” (24.13 cm) radius and rolled edges, with 22 medium jumbo frets. The alder body ensures classic Fender punch, and is available in a variety of stunning new finishes. The Player II Modified humbucker sounds articulate with a high output level, while the Noiseless™ pickups deliver classic Strat® brilliance while eliminating unwanted noise. For even wider tonal flexibility, the push/pull switch on the second tone control "splits" the bridge humbucker for classic single-coil Strat® tones. The two-point anchored tremolo, short post locking tuners, TUSQ® nut, and modern string tree work together to maintain incredibly stable tuning, while the wider travel of the chamfered tremolo block allows guitarists to achieve even more expressive and musical vibrato from their instrument.
