The Player II Modified Stratocaster® is a classic model that caters to the modern performer. All neck features are designed for smooth and fast playability, starting from the Modern "C" profile, to the slick satin urethane back finish, to the one-piece slab rosewood or maple fingerboard, with a comfortable 9.5" (24.13 cm) radius and rolled edges, with 22 medium jumbo frets. The alder body provides classic Fender punch, and is available in a variety of stunning new finishes. Player II Noiseless™ pickups deliver classic Strat® brilliance while eliminating unwanted noise, and the switch on the second tone control offers even more tonal flexibility by adding the neck pickup in switch positions 1 and 2. The two-point anchored tremolo, short-post locking tuners, TUSQ® nut, and modern string tree work together to maintain incredibly stable tuning, while the wider range of the beveled tremolo block allows guitarists to achieve even more expressive and musical vibrato from their instrument.
