The Stratocaster® HSS Player II Modified is a classic guitar designed for the modern guitarist. Every detail of the neck is designed for smooth, fast playability, from the modern "C" profile with a satin urethane back finish to the comfortable 9.5" radius slab rosewood or one-piece maple fretboard with rolled edges and 22 medium jumbo frets. The alder body offers classic Fender punch and is available in a variety of exciting new finishes. The Player II humbucker is articulate and delivers high output, while the noiseless pickups offer classic Strat® tone and sparkle, while eliminating unwanted noise. The 2-point tremolo, short-post locking tuners, TUSQ® nut, and modern string tree combine to maintain incredibly stable tuning, while the wider excursion of the chamfered tremolo block allows guitarists to achieve even more expressive and musical vibrato from their instrument.
