FENDER MTG TUBE DISTORTION PEDAL EFFECT

Many pedals try to emulate the sound of tube breakup; instead, we decided to emulate tube distortion, using real tubes and offering it all in a compact pedal. At the heart of the MTG's design is an NOS (New Old Stock) 6205 preamp tube made in the United States. The three-band equalizer with Tight control and selectable boost, with its own Level and Boost controls, allows you to easily dial in the right sound.

At the heart of the MTG's distortion is a real tube, in this case, a NOS (New Old Stock) 6205 preamp tube.

EQ CONTROLS

The EQ section not only boasts traditional Bass, Middle, and Treble controls but also features a Tight control so you can shape the bass to your liking.

BOOST CONTROLS

The Boost has its own Level and Boost controls: Level controls the master output level when the Boost circuit is active, while the Boost control affects the amount of gain introduced.

ENCLOSURE

We managed to shrink the MTG's circuitry, fitting true tube distortion into a chassis that easily mounts on any pedalboard.

9V POWER

The MTG uses standard 9V center-negative power, making it easy to integrate into any rig. Inside, a switching power supply converts the incoming 9V to 150V and applies this higher voltage to the tube plate, just like in an amplifier.

All Fender pedals are made of lightweight, durable anodized aluminum and include LED-illuminated controls.
