The Made in Japan Traditional '50s Telecaster® Limited Run Texas Special features a basswood body with a glossy finish, a Sonic Blue color not available in the standard model, and a Tortoiseshell pickguard. Additionally, by adopting the Custom Shop Texas Special™ Single-Coil Tele® for the pickup, a cornerstone of the sound, it produces a sound with a more powerful mid-range.

A "U"-shaped maple neck with a 9.5-inch radius equipped with 21 vintage-style frets offers classic playability, typical of the Traditional series. A vintage-style String-Through-Body bridge with 3 brass saddles and original pickups selected for the Traditional series offer realistic and musical vintage tones. The reduced nut width makes it easy for Japanese guitarists to play. This series reflects solid craftsmanship and flexibility in responding to the needs of guitarists.
