Inspired by the iconic design of Fender electric guitars, the California Player acoustic bass evokes the adventurous and free-spirited vibe of the West Coast, inviting players to explore their individual creativity and disrupt the status quo.

Crafted with a solid spruce top with X-bracing and sapele back and sides, the Kingman™ Bass’s compact mid-sized auditorium body produces a deep, punchy, and articulate tone and features a cutaway for comfortable access to the upper frets. The bound Nato neck is elegantly appointed with block inlays and designed with a slim-taper “C”-shaped Jazz Bass® profile, an easy-to-play 30” short scale length, a comfortable 1.5” nut width, and a 1-line headstock for a distinctive look born from Fender electric bass DNA. Other noteworthy details include vintage-style open-gear tuning machines for smooth, accurate tuning, a GraphTech® NuBone® nut and saddle, and a Fishman® Presys preamp system.
