With the 70th Anniversary Collection, Fender celebrates its 70 years of history. Specifically, this Fender 70th Anniversary American Professional II Stratocaster features a distinctive look with a wonderful flamed maple top combined with a traditional alder body.

In terms of technical specifications, the instrument is essentially an American Professional II Stratocaster. Specifically, it features a Deep "C" neck profile, characterized by a contained thickness but pronounced shoulders, extremely fast and comfortable at the same time.

The fingerboard has rolled edges, a feature that, combined with the "Super Natural" satin finish, gives the neck a familiar and smooth feel.

Access to the upper frets is particularly easy thanks to the "Sculpted Neck Heel", a feature borrowed from the American Ultra series.

The bridge features a 2-point tremolo, with a redesigned inertia block to increase performance in terms of sustain, definition, and sound brilliance.

The electronics consist of a set of Fender V-Mod II pickups, characterized by a double magnet, a technical concept borrowed from the Dual-Mag pickups of the Fender Custom Shop. The result is a pickup that is always warm and defined, thanks to the magnet which, in addition to being selected by position (neck, middle, bridge), is also differentiated according to the strings it acts upon (bass or treble).

Finally, to add versatility to an instrument that is already versatile by definition, there is a push/push potentiometer that allows the neck pickup to be activated, thus allowing for David Gilmour-like combinations and sounds.
