The Evans EMAD are single-ply, coated batter heads with a thickness of 0.25 mil, offering the right balance of low frequencies, attack, and power.

EMAD heads also come with two interchangeable damping rings that enhance attack and low frequencies without having to remove the head or access the inside of the drum.

The standard, externally mounted adjustable damping system is unique, allowing the drummer to fine-tune attack and focus the sound.
