Tony Iommi's iconic riffs, heavy sounds, and hugely influential albums with Black Sabbath laid the groundwork for heavy metal and many other genres to follow.

And while his innovative tuning and playing style were a major part of his monstrous sounds, a heavily modified 1964 Gibson SG was at the heart of it all.

The Epiphone Tony Iommi SG Special Vintage Cherry electric guitar is a replica of the original that launched countless heavy riffs by Tony Iommi.

This model features a two-piece mahogany body, a one-piece bound mahogany neck with a Rounded Iommi C profile, an Indian laurel fretboard with 22 medium jumbo frets, a Graph Tech nut, and Grover Rotomatic tuners with contemporary-style knobs.

Equipped with an Adjustable Wraparound bridge and a pair of Epiphone PRO P-90 pickups with chrome plating, connected to CTS potentiometers and Orange Drop capacitors.

Finish: Vintage Cherry. A static reproduction of Tony's "Monkey" decal is included in the hard case.
