The Epiphone SG Paul Muse was conceived as a high-performance, modern guitar.

The neck has a particularly comfortable Custom "C" profile, a feature that will certainly be appreciated by "beginners" or those who want a particularly comfortable neck.

The sound of this guitar is generated by a pair of Alnico Classic PRO pickups, recently redesigned by Epiphone and based on the highly sought-after Gibson '57 Classic pickups. They are Alnico II magnet-based pickups, therefore with a warm tone, but still capable of generating particularly saturated overdrive sounds.

In terms of electronics, it is important to highlight the presence of Treble Bleed circuitry on the volume controls and Push/Pull: these allow the humbuckers to be split, thus obtaining clearer and brighter sounds, or to put the signal of the two pickups out of phase.
