The Epiphone SG Paul Muse was designed to be a high-performance, modern guitar.

The neck features a particularly comfortable Custom "C" profile, a characteristic surely appreciated by "beginners" or those who desire a particularly comfortable neck.

The sound of this guitar is generated by a pair of Alnico Classic PRO pickups, recently redesigned by Epiphone and based on the highly sought-after Gibson '57 Classic pickups. These pickups are based on Alnico II magnets, therefore offering a warm tone, yet still capable of generating particularly saturated overdrive sounds.

In terms of electronics, it is worth noting the presence of Treble Bleed circuitry on the volume controls and Push/Pull: these allow for splitting the humbuckers to achieve clearer and brighter tones, or to put the signal of the two pickups out of phase.
