EPIPHONE LES PAUL STANDARD PLUS TOP PRO MOJAVE FADE

The new Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plustop PRO features a solid mahogany body with an AAA flame maple top, which are the typical materials used for the "true" Les Paul. The body is enhanced with a single-ply cream binding for a fantastic vintage look.

Like all Epiphone Les Pauls, the Standard Plustop PRO has a headstock angled at 14° relative to the neck, in order to increase pressure on the nut and increase sustain, without having to resort to string trees that alter the sound.

The mahogany neck has a 24.75" scale, a 12" radius, and a 1960s SlimTaper™ profile. The Pau Ferro fingerboard is adorned with "trapezoid" style inlays, while the 22 frets are modern medium jumbos.

In terms of electronics, the Les Paul Standard Plustop PRO is equipped with the new Pro-Bucker™ pickups. Thanks to Alnico II magnets (the same ones used for the original Gibson PAFs), these generate a warm and full-bodied sound.

The Pro-Bucker-2™ is located at the neck, while the Pro-Bucker-3™ with higher output is at the bridge. Both pickups feature coil-tapping, activatable via the push/pull volume potentiometer of each pickup.

Finally, the hardware is also noteworthy. The LockTone Tune-o-matic™ bridge allows for easy tuning adjustments and excellent tuning stability, while the machine heads are reliable Grover™ 14:1.
