The 1961 G-400 PRO limited edition electric guitar is inspired by the first generation of SG style guitars that replaced the discontinued Les Paul for a short period of time and became a favorite of metal and hard rock musicians worldwide.

The 1961 G-400 PRO has a classic mahogany body with a 60s "D" SlimTaper™ profile.

The neck has a standard 62.86 cm (24.75 inch) scale length with smooth and compound torrefied Pearloid trapezoid inlays, 22 medium-jumbo frets and a 30.48 cm (12 inch) fretboard radius.
