The Arpanoid guitar effect is the first compact polyphonic arpeggiator designed specifically for electric guitar. It transforms any played note or chord into an ascending or descending sequence of notes. The guitar effect controls adjust the sequence speed, the arpeggio direction (up, down, combined), the number of notes in the sequence, the dry/wet signal ratio (separate Wet and Dry controls), and one of eight effect modes which include random sequences in major and minor scales.

The guitar effect switch offers a momentary function in addition to the classic latching on/off mode; the effect is active only while the switch is pressed. The pedal is wired as a true bypass (relay-based switching, no audio signal passes without a source). A 9V adapter is used for power.
