This microphone is available in two versions:

4099 CORE Mic, High SPL (red mark on connector) - used for close-miking almost all types of instruments

4099 CORE Mic, Extreme SPL (yellow mark on connector) - used for close-miking extremely loud instruments, such as drums and some brass instruments

The 4099 CORE Microphone has an improved design with an elastic suspension, which offers excellent isolation from mechanical noise. Detachable cables are available in standard or heavy-duty versions depending on the application – both are designed to withstand the activities of daily use. A versatile, integrated gooseneck extension allows for quick and easily repeatable mounting.

The microphone fits instruments with a body depth between 35 mm (1.4 inches) and 122 mm (4.8 inches).
