The DOD Gunslinger’s Mosfet circuit clips smoothly and consistently as it saturates, providing clipping and harmonic properties similar to the preamp tubes in a guitar amp. It is designed to react to the dynamics of the performance. The distortion is "clean" when played softly and becomes more aggressive as you dig in and attack the strings. True Bypass.
