DiMarzio has been working on hum-free single-coil design for over 10 years. Their goal has always been to capture the best qualities of '50s and '60s pickups: a bright yet woody sound.

The Area 61 Stratocaster pickup does this, and it also produces no hum and has less magnet-pull.

It works well for all three positions. Ideal for the bridge position in combination with Area 58 pickups.
