Description

The DGMF is the 5-button MIDI Footswitch designed by Darkglass to control all Darkglass devices that can be operated via footswitch, expanding flexibility and convenience during your live performances, in the studio, or in the rehearsal room.

Easily configurable via Darkglass Suite, the DGMF offers customizable MIDI commands. Quick to set up with ready-to-use templates for Darkglass products. More complex custom MIDI configurations are also available with commands on primary and secondary operational levels, simultaneous sending of different messages, and more, making it a powerful command center that integrates seamlessly with your setup.

The MIDI pedal can be flexibly powered by a standard 9V DC power supply or via USB. In addition, Darkglass amplifiers are capable of powering it through the same 1/4" connector or a 7-PIN MIDI connector used for data, offering full operation using only one cable.

MIDI OUT/THRU Inputs & Outputs

7/5 pin DIN connector

    
• Connects to Darkglass amplifiers or pedals that have a MIDI IN connection.
    
• When connected to a Darkglass e500 or Infinity Combo amplifier with a 7-pin MIDI cable, no external power is required.
    
• Can be used with a 5-pin MIDI cable to connect to any other generic MIDI device.

MIDI IN

5 pin DIN connector

    
• Connects to a MIDI OUT on another MIDI device
    
• Passes MIDI messages through the MIDI OUT/THRU connector.

USB

USB-C connector

    
• Connects to a computer to set up the configuration using Darkglass Suite.
    
• Can be connected directly to the Darkglass e500 amplifier to synchronize settings.
    
• USB power banks and chargers can be used as a power source for the pedal.

Darkglass Amplifier

1/4” TS jack connector

Connects to the FOOTSWITCH connector of Darkglass amplifiers.

    
• Functions as a Darkglass Super Intelligent Footswitch.
    
• When used as a Super Intelligent Footswitch, no external power is required.
