Blackhawk Coated strings are manufactured using proprietary machinery and technology to deliver amazing tone. They are protected by a micro-thin coating that keeps them sounding fresh and bright up to four times longer than uncoated strings, and are also highly resistant to breakage. Blackhawk Phosphor Bronze strings are made from an alloy of 92% copper and 8% tin for amazing tone, excellent intonation, and long tonal life.
