The new series of 2-way portable systems that guarantees professional acoustic performance even for the most inexperienced user. A harmonious equalization that ensures accurate sound reproduction of all frequencies, even when the sound pressure becomes important.

dBTechnologies draws on its long experience in designing active systems with this new series, intended even for the most inexperienced users, while guaranteeing professional audio performance.

The series uses highly efficient Class D amplifiers that allow the system to reach vigorous sound pressure levels (up to 126.5 dB for the largest 15” model).

The new B-HYPE 8 is a versatile active system, equipped with a compression driver (1” voice coil) and an 8” woofer (1.5” voice coil). The dispersion pattern is asymmetrical on the vertical axis and diversified (in the upper and lower parts) on the horizontal axis. In this way, the coverage is more targeted and efficient, especially in reverberant environments. The combo input allows great versatility of use, adapting, for example, to a dynamic microphone or a standard line input.

The preset BOOST equalization allows reinforcing high and low frequencies. The LINK output allows connection to a second system.

The portability of the systems is guaranteed by a contemporary and accurate design characterized by 3 handles in all models (two on the sides and one on the top) and a contained total weight ranging from 6.6 kg for the 8” model to 17.4 kg for the 15”. Furthermore, each box can be used horizontally as a monitor, allowing stable 45° support on both sides. The systems can be used on a tripod or pole in combination with dBTechnologies subwoofers.
