dBTechnologies leverages its long experience in active system design with a series intended even for less experienced users, while still ensuring professional-grade audio performance.

The series uses highly efficient Class D amplifiers that allow the system to achieve powerful sound pressure levels (up to 126.5 dB for the largest 15” model).

The new B-HYPE 15 is a versatile active system, equipped with a compression driver (1” voice coil) and a 15” woofer (2” voice coil). The dispersion pattern is asymmetrical on the vertical axis and diversified (in the upper and lower parts) on the horizontal axis. This results in more targeted and efficient coverage, particularly in reverberant environments. The combo input allows for great versatility of use, adapting, for example, to a dynamic microphone or a standard line input.

The pre-set BOOST equalization allows for boosting high and low frequencies. The LINK output allows connection to a second system.

The portability of the systems is ensured by a contemporary and accurate design featuring 3 handles on all models (two on the sides and one on top) and a contained total weight ranging from 6.6 kg for the 8” model to 17.4 kg for the 15”. Furthermore, each box can be used horizontally as a monitor, allowing stable 45° placement on both sides. The systems can be used on a tripod or pole in combination with dBTechnologies subwoofers.
