Description

The Aggressively Distorting Advanced Machine is the result of a collaboration with one of the most celebrated artists in today's metal scene - Adam "Nolly" Getgood. This pedal captures Nolly's entire tonal arsenal meticulously perfected over years of extensive testing and experience into a single astounding enclosure.

A.D.A.M has three fully programmable footswitch rotary presets.

Each of these stores your unique blend of compression, distortion, impulse responses, EQ parameters and signal chain settings. Featuring a unique and innovative precision touch slider interface, for

its programmable 6-band EQ. It also incorporates a USB-C audio interface and balanced stereo outputs for studio monitors and features an extra accurate chromatic tuner, which works well even with down-tuned guitars and basses.

MIDI Specification for A.D.A.M FW v1.0

With A.D.A.M’s MIDI input, you can switch between saved presets and update the smart potentiometers, touch sliders, and encoders.

A.D.A.M responds to MIDI messages from all channels, so there’s no need to specify a MIDI channel otherwise to use A.D.A.M’s MIDI input functionality.

To modify A.D.A.M’s parameters, you need to send MIDI control change messages. These are mapped to A.D.A.M’s parameters as follows:

0 to 4: Smart potentiometers from

compression to level, left to right from

5 to 10:touch-sensitive sliders, left to right from 11 to 13:encoder rotation setting, left to right

The value of the control change message (0 to 127) is mapped into each of these controls.

For example, a control change message 3 with value 64 sets the Blend potentiometer to halfway and a control change message 10 with value 0 would move the high shelf EQ band to -12 dB.

To switch between ADAM’s presets, you need to send MIDI program change messages. The program change number will always map to presets A, Bo C.

Please note that these specifications are subject to change in future firmware updates.

Audio Routing Specification for A.D.A.M FW v1.0

A.D.A.M has four ways to receive audio: instrument in, Aux in, Bluetooth and USB output from the DAW when used as an interface.

A.D.A.M has four ways to output audio: a pair of balanced stereo outputs, stereo headphones, a direct XLR output, and USB input to the DAW when used as an interface.

Please note that routing is subject to change in future firmware updates.

Usb routing

A.D.A.M supports sample rates of 48 kHz and 44.1 kHz.

USB output (to A.D.A.M)

Output 1:

Balanced Left +

Headphones Left Output

2: Balanced Right + Headphones Right Output 3: Balanced Left Output 4: Balanced

Right Output 5: XLR DI (mono)

Both Mac and PC send system audio to outputs 1 and 2 by default, so you can always use A.D.A.M’s preferred stereo output without having to set up any additional routing. The level of these outputs is controlled by the small volume potentiometer at the top of A.D.A.M. The other outputs do not have any volume control on A.D.A.M.

USB input (from A.D.A.M)

Input 1: Processed signal (unprocessed

signal if bypassed)

Input 2: Unprocessed raw

signal Input 3: Aux Left + Bluetooth Left Input 4: Aux Right + Bluetooth Right

Audio routing

When A.D.A.M is not bypassed, the Level potentiometer always controls the instrument input’s volume to all four outputs and has no effect on the USB/Aux/Bluetooth audio. When a.D.A.M is bypassed, the level potentiometer has no effect.

The instrument, Aux input, and Bluetooth audio are routed to the headphones and balanced outputs. The media volume to these outputs can be controlled with the small potentiometer at the top of A.D.A.M.

When using the balanced outputs, the media volume and instrument volume level are controlled separately (small volume potentiometer at the top of A.D.A.M and Level potentiometer, respectively).

When using headphones, the volume is controlled in the same way, with one exception: the headphone volume potentiometer acts as the overall master volume for both media and instrument input.

The XLR DI output is routed with the instrument output and USB Output 5 only.

The media playback volume level on A.D.A.M is not applied to USB Inputs 3 and 4.

Known Issues:USB Output 5 is not routed when the unit is bypassed. This will be fixed in a future firmware update.
