The D-41 (2025) is a Dreadnought-shaped acoustic guitar from Martin & Co.'s "Standard" series, crafted with a Spruce top, Indian Rosewood back and sides, a Mahogany neck, and an Ebony fretboard. It features GE-Scalloped bracing for enhanced brightness and sound projection, a further lowered GE Modified Low Oval neck profile, and a heel, neck, and bridge with more rounded edges for greater comfort, as well as bone bridge pins. It has a nut width of 44.45 mm, a scale length of 645 mm, and a gloss finish on the top, back, and sides.

Inlaid with stunning abalone mother-of-pearl and fitted with gold tuners, it's more than a Dreadnought: it's an heirloom. Premium East Indian rosewood and spruce combine with hand-carved bracing to produce a rich, powerful, and complex sound.
One of the main innovations of the 2025 Standard series is the use of Golden Era (GE) Sitka spruce bracing for the top, a detail also found in the Modern Deluxe series, which provides a more vintage and airy tone with enhanced sustain. The neck with a modified “Low Oval” GE profile maintains the classic shape but has been optimized to offer a vintage appeal. The fretboard has been thinned and features rounded edges for greater comfort, while the string spacing at the nut has been perfected. The new GE "modern belly" bridge features softer, more comfortable angles. Standard Series guitars are now equipped with bone or ebony bridge pins, depending on the model. Aesthetic updates include an elongated neck diamond, an angled nut, and a more articulated, vintage-style heel.
