This is no surprise, as the D-28 is crafted with East Indian rosewood, a highly resonant wood that delivers deep bass and rich harmonics. It's a well-balanced guitar suitable for all playing styles. It also combines vintage details like open-gear tuners, an aged toner top, antique white binding, and a faux tortoise pickguard.<br />One of the main innovations in the 2025 Standard series is the use of Golden Era (GE) Sitka spruce bracing for the top, a detail also present in the Modern Deluxe series, which gives a more vintage and airy tone with enhanced sustain.
