Description

The Custom 24-08 is the PRS electric guitar equipped with TCI pickups and the new EQ Mini-Toggle Switches, allowing for up to 8 different sound configurations. It features a Maple top, Mahogany body and neck, 24 frets and a 25" scale, PRS Gen III Tremolo bridge, and Phase III tuners with Wing Buttons. In 2025, it will be available in the new Aurora Borealis color.

OVERVIEW OF THE PRS CUSTOM 24-08 AURORA BOREALIS

The Custom 24 is the quintessential PRS guitar, the iconic instrument that started it all in 1985. The Custom 24-08 retains many of the original model's core specifications, such as the Maple top, Mahogany body and neck, 24 frets, 25" scale, PRS Patented Tremolo Gen III bridge, and Phase III tuners with Wing buttons, but adds versatility thanks to the TCI pickups and EQ Mini-Toggle switches, new for 2025. The TCI pickups are designed to offer a full and musical sound, reminiscent of single-coil and soapbar tones. The two EQ Mini-Toggle switches act as high-pass filters when activated (up position), attenuating the lows and allowing the highs to pass through for greater clarity and brilliance.
