Description

The Crumar Seven is not just another digital piano, it's a novelty with a vintage look. This type of design was almost mandatory at the time; it was practical for both the user to transport and the manufacturer to assemble, and it was designed to support a very heavy structure made up of several large moving mechanical parts. At some point, when digital electronics took over from old mechanical and analog keyboards, the concept of a portable piano gradually changed, making instruments smaller and lighter, to the point that some modern digital pianos are small enough to be carried in a bag. All sounds are based on real-time physical modeling technology, different types of synthesis specially designed to faithfully reproduce a particular type of sound. Of course, there is also a physical model of a grand piano, for a total of nine different synthesis engines.
