Based on some 10 years of research and development, Cre8audio's partnership with Pittsburgh Modular Synthesizers has produced 100% modern circuitry and components, which provide a rich, reliable, and robust sound. Pick your waveform (sine, triangle, saw, or square), and tailor your robust sound with fine-tune, glide, width, and FM parameters. The multimode filter has also been designed from the ground up to eliminate dead spots. Use it as a low-pass, high-pass, band-pass, or a combination of the three to further color your soundscape. The custom envelope generator circuit creates a snapping, percussive attack, which can be combined with the dual-range LFO, conjuring some serious expressive potential.

To call it a semi-modular synthesizer is only a technicality: this 40HP unit can be extracted from its enclosure directly into your Eurorack setup. The East Beast ups the modular ante with 18 patch points, offering endless interoperable capability with anything in your rig that sends or accepts CV signals. If voltage control isn't your bag, the East Beast is a MIDI monster, with in, out, and thru functions, allowing you to easily integrate the Beast. The tap tempo clock, arpeggiator, and built-in sequence controls and more optimize the Beast to do anything from taking the lead, to raging on its own.
