The Costalab Compressor has been designed to provide guitar and bass sound with a boost and a soft depth, given by the significant dynamic compensation.

Placed before an effects chain or in front of an amplifier, it gives a good idea of how it is possible to reproduce, through your playing, evocative sounds of hundreds of famous songs.

Thanks to the selection of highly selected components, especially the integrated circuit which is the heart of this device, the pedal maintains an excellent tonal respect for your sound and an exceptional silence.

The CostaLab Compressor is equipped with a "true bypass" mechanical switch system and has an anti-pop system.

The power supply is 9 volt DC and connects via the classic 2.1 mm DC connector with a center negative. The current consumption is less than 20 mA. The unit can also run on a 9 volt battery. In this case, the circuit is activated by inserting the input Jack.

To prolong battery life, it is advisable to remove the input jack from the socket when you stop using it. It is however possible to keep the battery inside the pedal even when it is powered via the DC socket, because the external power system is able to automatically exclude it.

The pedal measures 118x60x34mm excluding knobs and Jacks.
