COSTALAB CHORUS LAB

The CostaLab ChorusLab is appreciated by guitarists and bassists for the depth and warmth of its tone, as well as its great intelligibility which is typically lost in circuits where the signal is forced into long and complex paths.

Its sound is inspired by the typical sound of the American tradition, which first used the chorus effect in fusion and jazz-rock music.

Over time, the chorus has become an indispensable tool for arpeggiated and accompanying parts.

The ChorusLab revives this tradition with a soft, deep, enveloping and well-defined sound.

Used with a guitar, it allows for arpeggios characterized by great spatiality and warmth, while with an electric bass, it proves indispensable for adding depth to solo parts, enhancing the musician's virtuosity and expressiveness.

The CostaLab ChorusLab is equipped with a mix control, in addition to the classic Speed and Depth controls.

The three controls allow for the best adjustment in any situation. The pedal is equipped with a "true bypass" switch, with the addition of an anti-pop filter.

Power is 9 volts DC and connects via the classic 2.1 mm DC connector with center negative. Current consumption is less than 50 mA. The unit can also operate with a 9-volt battery. In this case, the circuit is activated by inserting the input jack.

To prolong battery life, it is advisable to remove the input jack from the socket when not in use. However, it is still possible to keep the battery inside the pedal even when it is powered via the DC socket, because the external power supply system is able to automatically exclude it.

The pedal measures 118x60x34mm excluding knobs and jacks.
