'Twenty years ago, Cort joined forces with world-renowned luthier Rob Elrick of Elrick Bass Guitars and developed a Cort version of the Elrick evolution Bass that gained popularity among bassists. Now, for their 30th anniversary, Elrick Bass Guitars has collaborated with Cort again to launch the new Cort Elrick NJS basses. NJS, short for New Jazz Standard, are modern jbass-style basses with unique features such as angled tuners and 24 frets with a "Zero Fret," a "heel-less" body design with extended treble access, and Voiced Tone VTBST pickups with a Bartolini preamp. Loved by many beginner and professional bassists over the years, the NJS basses' innovative design and excellent playability are sure to satisfy high-end bass enthusiasts.
