Description

The Cambridge 50 is Vox's "Hybrid" series modeling combo amplifier that delivers 50 watts of power. Thanks to the Nutube valve, it is able to reproduce a very faithful tube sound, and with the 12" Celestion VX12 cone, it guarantees a clear and defined tone. It features 11 amplifier types, 8 effects, a tuner, an aux input, and line and headphone outputs. Via USB cable, it can be used as an audio interface for your recordings. Also included are the Tone Room software for managing your presets from PC or Mac, and the Jam Vox software for practicing.

EIGHT TYPES OF EFFECTS

The VOX Cambridge50 includes a generous selection of essential effects to shape your sound. Modulation and delay/reverb can be used simultaneously, and by choosing from four types each, a total of eight effects are achieved. With the Tap button, you can program delay time and other parameters quickly and intuitively.

OPEN-BACK CABINET EQUIPPED WITH CELESTION VX12 SPEAKER

The VOX Cambridge50 features a 12" Celestion VX12 cone that fully utilizes the 50-watt output. The back of the amplifier is open to deliver all the crisp tone you expect from a 12" cone.

EQUIPPED WITH NUTUBE VALVE

The VOX Cambridge50 features Nutube, the new generation valve that utilizes electro-luminescent technology and guarantees the distortion and compression you expect from a traditional tube system. In addition to its small and lightweight design, Nutube is maintenance-free and incredibly durable.

A WIDE RANGE OF ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS

A wide range of integrated functions to accompany the musician in all his activities is included in the VOX Cambridge50. In addition to the integrated tuner, there is an AUX input that will allow you to connect an external audio source, a headphone/line out with cabinet simulation for daily practice or home recording, a preset mode to easily recall preset programs and a manual mode to use physical controls like a conventional amplifier.

USB AUDIO INTERFACE

The VOX Cambridge50 features a built-in USB audio interface for connecting to your computer and direct recording of the Nutube sound. This feature is perfect for integration with your recording studio setup.

TONE ROOM EDITOR/LIBRARY SOFTWARE

The "Tone Room" software, which acts as an editor and sound library, is supported by the VOX Cambridge50 and will allow you to manage parameters inaccessible from the amplifier's control panel and save its settings in the library.

ADD A FOOTSWITCH TO EXPAND FUNCTIONALITY

The VOX VFS5 foot controller allows you to change saved programs with a simple foot press. When the VFS5 is connected to the VOX Cambridge50, memories are extended to eight types, to ensure full support during live performances.

JAMVOX III SOFTWARE INCLUDED

With the bundled JamVOX III modeling software, you can easily enjoy playing guitar on your PC. You can take advantage of the GXT function, which allows you to extract, emphasize, or remove a specific part from an existing song; you can also use the music player function to loop a song you are learning and even change its tempo. ASIO drivers are supported, so you can also record and play back using software other than JamVOX III, such as a DAW or a guitar amp simulator.
